Joey Essex signs with Warner, compiles ‘ultimate dance album’

‘I’m A Celebrity’ and ‘TOWIE’ tyke Joey Essex has signed a ‘reem’ new dream-deal with Warner Music, who’ll slap his face on the front of a compilation of ‘Essex Anthems’, aka party hits and remixes by the likes of Clean Bandit, Duke Dumont, Rudimental, Wiley and Daniel Bedingfield. It’s a triple-disc spread, and has practically every banger going on it. NOW! That’s what I call a compilation.
Essex himself is feeling especially inspired by the idea, and says: “I’m really excited about this record deal, it’s amazing to be making the ultimate dance album based on the tunes we play at Sugar Hut. Me and the label have spent loads of time choosing the tracks, mixing up new hits with classic dancefloor bangers”. And just in case you wondered, Sugar Hut is that club the ‘TOWIE’ cast are always at on the ITV show, having fights, dancing and snogging and that.
‘Joey Essex Presents Essex Anthems’ will descend on 17 Mar. Find its indescribably banging tracklisting via this link.
