Björk and David Attenborough’s Biophilia doc to have DVD release

Eureka! Björk’s bio-scientific film ‘The Nature Of Music’, in which she talks over her app-happy last LP ‘Biophilia’ with its narrator, David Attenborough, is being released as a DVD on 5 May.
Also featuring a voice-over by the great Tilda Swinton, the hour-long doc was originally shown on Channel 4 last year, and saw the pair ‘riffing’ on larynxes, crystals, maths, Bach, the cosmos, the ‘hidden’ nature of sound, and all kinds of other fascinating ‘Biophilia’-related wonders.
Björk looked a bit awkward all the way through, sort of like a kooky friend collared and quizzed by a scholarly dad at a dinner party. Fortunately, the dad wasn’t any old dad, but David Attenborough, so it turned out quite amazing, age-gap considered.
