CAA agent Lewis moves to UTA

American booking agent Jbeau Lewis has departed CAA after over a decade at the company to join rival agency UTA. In his new role he will work alongside UTA’s music department head Rob Prinz, who together will set out to expand the firm’s tour booking business.
The MDs of the United Talent Agency, Jeremy Zimmer, David Kramer and Jay Sures, said in a joint statement: “Jbeau is a great agent and a great addition to UTA, and his passion for discovering and nurturing exciting artists will be a significant asset as we continue to grow a thriving music practice”.
Lewis, who has worked with the likes of Katy Perry, Ariana Grande and Empire Of The Sun, added: “I’m energised by the opportunity to help grow an innovative music touring division. UTA is uniquely progressive in leveraging technology on behalf of its clients, and I’m particularly excited to tap that expertise at a company where every artist will reap the benefits of a full-service agency”.
