By Andy Malt | Published on Thursday 7 August 2014
Godflesh have announced their first album in thirteen years, along with a handful of tour dates. And if you think they might have gone a bit soft in that time, well just you hang on a minute.
The duo of Justin and GC Green released their second album, ‘Hymns’, back in 2001, splitting a year later. However, they began performing live again in 2010, and released a new EP, ‘Decline And Fall’, in June of this year, setting the scene for album number three, ‘A World Lit Only By Fire’. The record will be released through their own Avalanche Records label on 6 Oct.
In December, you’ll be able to catch them live, playing these dates:
9 Dec: Brighton, The Haunt
10 Dec: London, The Garage
11 Dec: Nottingham, Rescue Rooms
12 Dec: Manchester, Sound Control
13 Dec: Glasgow, Art School
