Sisters Edie and Gita Langley have a wealth of experience as performers. Hailing from a musical family, both have been performing together as singers since their teens, as well as working as session musicians – Langley having toured and recorded with the likes of Mark Ronson, Carl Barat and Adam Green, while Harcourt has been touring violinist for artists including Beyonce, Jay-Z, The Streets, Band Of Horses and Serj Tankian.
They are now stepping out front of stage as Lock, a dark pop project whose debut single ‘Click’ is due out on 10 Jul through Raygun Music. The tense, gloomy track, layered with drama, is a strong introduction to a collection of songs co-written with the likes of Dimitri Tikovoi, Neil Athale and Ed Harcourt.
