Apple announces all new look Roundhouse season
By Chris Cooke | Published on Tuesday 18 August 2015
Do you remember the iTunes Festival back in the old days? iTunes Festival. How antiquated. How old fashioned. How old hat. How old fangled. How outmoded. How archaic. How fusty. How past it. How hoary. How antediluvian. Ladies and gentlemen, we present the Apple Music Festival.
“We wanted to do something really special for music fans this year” says Apple man Eddy Cue, “The Apple Music Festival is a greatest hits set of ten unbelievable nights featuring some of the best performers on the planet appearing live and interacting directly with their fans on Connect and Beats 1”.
Oh, Connect and Beats 1. How modern. How contemporary. How recent. How fresh. How of the moment. How newfangled. How modish. How state-of-the-art. How concomitant. Yeah I’m not sure that one works. But it’s in my thesaurus.
Pharrell Williams, One Direction, Florence + The Machine and Disclosure are amongst those set to play Apple’s latest and – don’t forget – all new look series of gigs at London’s Roundhouse next month.
