50 Cent sued by casting company
By CMU Editorial | Published on Thursday 23 September 2010
50 Cent is being sued for two hundred grand by a production company who provided casting services for ‘Things Fall Apart’, the in-production movie written and financed by, and co-starring, the hip hopper.
Crispy Twig Productions claim that Fiddy has reneged on an oral agreement to pay them $5000 a week for nineteen weeks for the services the company provided to the movie project. It also alleges it were misled by the rapper’s people, who said that actors James Caan and Diana Rodriguez were on board for the project when they were not.
The claim for $200,000 comes from the unpaid fees plus damages relating to work turned down by Crispy Twig while working on 50 Cent’s movie.
According to reports, the rapper’s film went into production earlier this summer, and Fiddy has published pictures of himself after losing nearly 60 pounds to play the role of a football player suffering from cancer.
