Slint guitarist joins Interpol
By CMU Editorial | Published on Wednesday 9 June 2010
Following the departure of bassist Carlos Dengler from the band last month, Interpol have announced that he will be replaced by Slint guitarist Dave Pajo.
As well as Slint, Pajo has performed with Tortoise, The For Carnation, Royal Trux, and Zwan, as well as his three solo projects, Ariel M, Papa M and Pajo.
Also joining the band for their upcoming tour dates is Secret Machines frontman Brandon Curtis on keyboards and backing vocals.
It’s not clear if either men will stay with Interpol beyond touring to promote the band’s new eponymous album, which is due for release later this year.
