Flying Lotus sets back LP release
By CMU Editorial | Published on Thursday 17 May 2012
Electronica artist Flying Lotus has delayed the release of his new record, ‘Until The Quiet Comes’, as was originally intended for a summertime issue, to October this year. October, “or some shit”. We know all this to be fact because of remarks the LA-based producer made to crowds during his festival set at Sónar São Paulo, which included this key quote: “I just finished a record. It’s called ‘Until The Quiet Comes’. That shit comes out in like October or some shit”.
So, until ‘Until The Quiet Comes’… er, comes, you’ll just have to make do with staring futilely at this blank video of FlyLo’s Sónar set, which – despite being posted on the festival’s official YouTube channel – has been blocked by Warp on copyright grounds. Spoilsports.
