If you fancy a bit of a Carnival warm up, look no further than Shoreditch’s Village Underground tomorrow night, which will being playing host to some proper bass music.
Mixmag touches down for the latest of its ‘Live’ series, after hosting events featuring Richie Hawtin, Simian Mobile Disco and Visionquest. Saturday sees RAM records affiliate and drum n bass man Sub Focus giving the venue’s system a good outing, with a selection of his faves and possibly a sneak preview of a few forthcoming tunes from his new LP. MTA’s purveyors KillSonik pledge a rumbling bass workout, as does Shogun Audio label boss Friction and rising trio MONSTA. OWSLA signings Kill The Noise will also be on hand to offer their take on things.
