Eighties Matchbox fold (again)
By Aly Barchi | Published on Tuesday 14 May 2013
The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster have parted ways (again), saying things like they “did not have the strength” to go on, and that “a shared musical common ground could not be found”.
The band, who originally split in 2011 only to change their minds last June, have since cancelled all their live dates, not least a once-postponed headline show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire and an appearance at this year’s imminent Great Escape festival. Plans to release a new LP have also been called off. So boo to that.
