And Finally Artist News Releases
Surviving members of TLC re-record Waterfalls, Lopes’ family not impressed

The family of Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes are not impressed by the decision by the surviving members of TLC – Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins and Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas – to re-record the group’s most famous song, ‘Waterfalls’, with Japanese popstar Namie Amuro to mark their 20th anniversary. I imagine the Lopes family are about as impressed as T-Boz and Chilli looked during their cameo in the video for Stooshe’s cover of the song.
Lopes’ sister Reigndrop told TMZ: “I did not know about it until a fan posted it online. I mean it would have been nice if they would have given us a heads up before being surprised”.
The new version of the track has not been officially released outside Japan, and there has been no indication that it will receive a wider release, or if another version will be recorded for the rest of the world. You can hear the offending track here:
