Grimes to co-host VMAs coverage

In amazing MTV news, the perhaps naive media giant is letting Grimes interview celebs pre this year’s VMAs. She and her new BFF – says MTV – NYC designer Rachel Antonoff (me neither) will chat to the stars as they arrive at the awards this Sunday.
The big VMAs show will feature live showings by Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Robin Thicke, Kanye West and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. And Mr Justin Timberlake, who’ll play live (potentially with Nsync) and accept the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
Anyway, back to Grimes, who says: “I am hard pressed to leave my studio at such a creative time of year, but deep in my heart I must know if Macklemore went to the thrift shop for his red carpet look. Also stoked to be joined by co host Rachel Antonoff, cos I would be terrified to do this alone!”.
Antanoff adds: “I couldn’t be more excited to be co-hosting this and so excited to be doing it with Grimes, she is the coolest!”
Yes, she is.
