Fred Durst developing new TV show
By Aly Barchi | Published on Friday 1 November 2013
On-screen ‘Douchebag’ Fred Durst is developing a new TV drama inspired ‘loosely’ by his own life, possibly including that time in 2011 when he appeared briefly in a never-aired sitcom titled ‘Douchebag’.
The new show, ‘The Noise’, is a one-off, one hour drama about a rockstar who “escapes a tumultuous home life and forms a wildly popular band with a unique sound”. And afterwards, I’m assuming, is unable to adapt that ‘unique sound’ to changing times, signs to a rap label, and makes a straight-to-TV movie about it all.
