Hip Brooklynites and blogger’s dream Wet are making their way in NYC’s thriving alt-pop scene via their very fine ‘Wet’ EP, which had its release earlier this year.
Perhaps the most immediate of its tracks, ‘Dreams’ drips with sweet appeal and dewy synths, whilst the slightly Bon Iver-esque ‘You’re The Best’ is beautifully life and love-affirming, and still stops short of sickly. I don’t know how they do it.
And yes, whilst Wet is a very watery band name, at least on the flipside their typo-tastic website is www.kanyewet.biz.
