150 more acts confirmed for this year’s Great Escape

In a busy day for festival news, make sure you take note of the 150 – yep, 150 – new bands added to the line up of The Great Escape, Europe’s leading festival for new music.

The second big announcement from Team TGE includes details of the second ‘Dome show’ at this year’s festival, which will feature Wild Beasts, These New Puritans and Adult Jazz. Meanwhile all of the following acts have now been confirmed to play:

The Great Escape also features, of course, a CMU Insights-programmed convention, which this year will present six in depth half-day strands plus a series of in conversations, parties and networking events. Two strands are already confirmed – Maximising Music Rights and Global Digital Markets – with details of the other four plus the in conversation guests this year all due to be announced very soon.

Meanwhile, to get into all of the festival and convention elements of TGE, you need to get yourself a delegates pass, which are still available at the ridiculously cheap price of £145, but only until Friday. Rooms are also going fast in the official convention hotels – The Queens and myhotel – so you might want to get booking those this week too.
