2562 announces new album

By | Published on Friday 28 August 2009

Sticking with dubstep, and Dutch producer Dave Huismans has announced that he will release a second album from his 2562 project, ‘Unbalance’, the follow-up to last year’s ‘Aerial’, on 2 Nov via Tectonic.

Mixing dubstep and techno, ‘Aerial’ received high praise and featured in a number of end of year lists last year. However, Tectonic boss Pinch says that ‘Unblanace’ blows it out of the water. He told Resident Advisor: “I’ve worked closely with 2562 over the last few years and I can honestly say that ‘Unbalance’ is an incredible album – it’s one of the most exciting releases that Tectonic has seen to date – it vastly exceeds the already high standard he set himself with ‘Aerial'”.

Here’s the tracklist:

Intro
Flashback
Lost
Like A Dream
Dinosaur
Unbalance
Superflight
Yes / No
Who Are You Fooling?
Narita
Love In Outer Space
Escape Velocity [digital release only]
