Alkaline Trio to play at Islington Academy’s tenth birthday

London’s Islington Academy is ten this year, and so has invited Alkaline Trio – who played at the Academy’s launch night back in 2003 – to be the very special guests at its very special birthday show on 29 Aug. Happy birthday, it.
The Trio’s Matt Skiba says: “It is always an honour to play London. To have been at the beginning of an era with [the Islington Academy] was AMAZING. I remember that show being extra special and playing again for their tenth anniversary is something we’re extremely proud to be a part of”.
