Because-signed Heloïse Letissier and band, aka Christine And The Queens, first planted a shady kiss on France’s alt-pop fascia via 2011’s ‘Mac Abbey’ and its dark star track ‘Narcissus Is Back’. Letissier et al – who are based, for all their ‘francité’, in London – released a new EP titled ‘Nuit 17 à 52’ earlier this year, an achievement they’ll celebrate by playing the city’s all-new, all-French festival OohLaLA! in late October.
