Black Strobe man launches label
By CMU Editorial | Published on Friday 25 February 2011
Arnaud Rebotini, one half of influential French electro-clashers Black Strobe, is setting up his own label, which will be distributed globally by German independent !K7. The new venture will release Rebotini’s own output as well as looking for new talent to sign, in particular the “new wave of French electronic producers”.
Confirming the launch of Black Strobe Records, Rebotini told CMU: “This label has been motivated by a desire to defend new talents and to better defend my own projects. Having !K7, the legendary label, as my partner during this adventure was the obvious choice given our close history”.
A spokesman for !K7 added: “We love it when artists like Arnaud take their career into their own hands and create their own labels. We are really proud that Arnaud has chosen !K7 as his global partner to market his visions and records”.
