Bon Jovi top Billboard tour chart

Bon Jovi were the biggest touring act in the world this year according to Billboard’s Boxscore chart, with over two million people attending 100 sold-out shows by the band between November 2007 and November 2008, generating $210.6 million in ticket sales.
Asked about his band’s touring dominance this year, Jon Bon Jovi told reporters: “The foundation of our success was and is touring. Whether it was a night club or a stadium we played each show like it was our biggest show. Our fans have been the reason why a second generation now share in this great honour. We thank you all”.
