Boy George forced to evict friend
By CMU Editorial | Published on Monday 12 January 2009
Boy George has had to evict a DJ friend who has been staying with him because a judge has ruled that the situation is inappropriate in the light of the fact that the friend, Antony Marnoch, is awaiting trial, whilst George is awaiting sentencing after being convicted at the end of last year, as previously reported, of the false imprisonment of escort Audun Carlsen.
Marnoch, who has DJed at private parties for the likes of Prince and Madonna, is accused of raping a twelve year old boy in a public toilet, and has been using George’s residence as a bail address after being freed on a £10k bond on 12 Dec. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Anyway, a judge at Blackfriars Crown Court, tipped off by The Sun, has declared that it’s “entirely unsuitable” for the pair to be sharing a house at the present time. George claims that he’s letting Marnoch stay whilst he makes regular visits to a local hospital for cancer treatment.
