Boy George writing prison song for Robbie
By CMU Editorial | Published on Thursday 12 February 2009
He may be languishing in jail after being found guilty of beating up male escort Audun Carlsen at his flat in Shoreditch in 2007, but he’s not resting on his laurels. His spell behind bars had looked set to scupper a planned collaboration with Robbie Williams on the former Take Thatter’s new album, but according to rumours, Boy George is writing a song in his cell.
A source told The Sun: “Robbie had tapped up George to write some tracks for his new album. They had intended to work together on the songs together, but they can’t do that now. George has neglected his songwriting and is determined to hone his skills again. Without the distractions of the outside world he is bidding to write Rob a killer ballad from behind bars”.
