Celine admits Dion Is Dead rumours a little irritating

Celine Dion has admitted to being a bit peeved about those “Celine is dead” rumours that do the rounds on the social networks from time to time, though mainly because it worries her poor mum. Which is understandable I suppose.
Following the most recent internet rumour, that had Dion being killed in an accident, though half the rumour spreaders said car wreck while the other half reckoned plane crash, the singer told Digital Spy: “Sometimes it’s freaky because I have to call my family about it. I was celebrating the birthday of my twins in Montreal and I was getting these phone calls saying there was stuff on Facebook that I was dead”.
She went on: “The thing that worries me is my mum. It makes me a little mad – she’s 86 years old and if I’m not on the phone telling her I’m OK four seconds after it’s on the news… it doesn’t matter what they say, it’s the impact it has on your family”.
So stop spreading Dion Is Dead rumours people. However much fun it might be.
