CMU Insights at BIME Pro

If you are heading to the BIME Pro conference in Bilbao later this week, look out for CMU Insights, who will be in attendance on both Thursday and Friday.
CMU’s Chris Cooke will host two sessions on the Thursday. He will present a speed briefing on the ‘Song Royalties Guide’ he wrote for the UK Music Managers Forum earlier this year, explaining the complexities in the way songwriters are paid streaming royalties each month, and how that impacts on when and if they get paid.
On the same day he’ll also be in conversation with Dominique Kulling, EVP Continental Europe for Repertoire & Marketing at BMG, who will talk through her career to date, the evolution of the BMG company over the last ten years, and the challenges and opportunities for music makers in Continental Europe.
