Danny Brown LP given vinyl release for Record Store Day
By CMU Editorial | Published on Monday 26 March 2012
Adored by critics since its digital issue back in 2011, Detroit alt-hop type Danny Brown’s sophomore album ‘XXX’ is to make its on-vinyl debut on Record Store Day, which this year falls on 21 Apr.
Fools Gold, who oversaw the LP’s original release, will distribute 1000 double 12-inch copies, with an extra 7-inch single version of the rapper’s new track ‘Grown Up’ also available at selected outlets. Though vinyl haters can already download the MP3 of that track for free here.
Meanwhile, go check this video of Brown talking with crazed Canadian muso Nardwuar at this month’s SxSW festival.
