By CMU Editorial | Published on Wednesday 7 July 2010
Hamburg-based digital music distribution and marketing company finetunes has appointed a new New York-based US representative to handle and develop customer relations in North America. The new US rep is Ray Farrell, who was recently a Senior VP for digital royalty specialists Royalty Share Inc, and prior to that a VP at eMusic.
Confirming the new appointment, finetunes MD Oke Goettlick told CMU: “For the ever-changing and competitive US market it was clear that we wanted an up to date expert on today’s label scenery. Ray has a strong track record in the digital sector and brings in a great network of business and artist contacts”.
Farrell himself added: “I have worked with finetunes extensively in the past and I am thrilled to be joining the team. The finetunes distribution and promotion platform is among the most innovative and easy to use. I look forward to expanding the company’s network of digital partnerships worldwide”.
