LIVERPOOL MUSIC WEEK, various venues, Liverpool, 28 Oct – 11 Nov: Organisers of Liverpool’s fifteen day week of music have named Ghostpoet, Outfit, Beth Jeans Houghton, The Whip, D/R/U/G/S, Dutch Uncles, Hyde & Beast and Visions Of Trees as amongst those acts set to play at their closing day party, which will be held throughout the city’s multi-roomed Contemporary Urban Centre. www.liverpoolmusicweek.com
LOWPASS WEEKENDER, Pontins Camber Sands Holiday Centre, East Sussex, 4-6 Nov: With stages hosted by cool labels like Digital Soundboy, Shogun Audio and RAM Records, this year’s Lowpass beatfest will welcome the bass-heavy likes of Skream, Andy C, Caspa, Joker, Mista Jam, Scratch Perverts and David Rodigan.
