Former Warner chief signs David Gray for publishing
By Chris Cooke | Published on Wednesday 16 April 2014
The new company of former Warner UK chief Christian Tattersfield, so that’ll be Good Soldier Songs, has signed a worldwide publishing deal (excluding America) with that David Gray chap.
The deal will cover Gray’s new long player ‘Mutineers’, which will be released via the singer-songwriter’s own label IHT Records via a partnership with Kobalt Label Services.
Tattersfield previously signed Gray when he was at Warner’s EastWest label back in the day, going on to release the 2000 long player ‘White Ladder’.
Says Gray: “It’s great to have Christian involved again. He’s someone who’s opinion I trust, and when he says he’s going to do something, he does it properly”.
Says Tattersfield: “‘Mutineers’ is a creative and iconic high point in David’s career. It’s a privilege for Good Soldier Songs to be part of the team”.
