Frankie Rose confirms new LP
By CMU Editorial | Published on Wednesday 7 December 2011
Now standing apart from her one-time backing troupe The Outs, a solo Frankie Rose has named her forthcoming second album ‘Interstellar’, and set it for release next year.
Having spent stints playing in Vivian Girls, Crystal Stilts and Dum Dum Girls, she insists the sequel to her debut LP with The Outs won’t be of the lo-fi variety. She says: “I always have a big picture in mind. I knew I wanted a HUGE sounding record. Big highs, big lows, and clean. There is no fuzz on this record”.
The spotless and fuzz-free ‘Interstellar’ is due out via Memphis Industries on 19 Mar.
