Frankmusik dropped
By CMU Editorial | Published on Thursday 20 October 2011
Frankmusik has revealed that he has been dropped by Universal/Island after his second album, ‘Do It In The AM’ and its two singles failed to break into the top 40. He tweeted yesterday: “[This is] the awkward moment when you have to change your status to ‘unsigned’. Sad day”.
On the up side, he still seems to be in demand to produce other people’s work – he recently produced Erasure’s comeback album ‘Tomorrow’s World’ and supported them on their US tour.
