Fuller planning Now That’s What I Call A TV Show

Pop Idol man Simon Fuller is reportedly planning on turning the Now That’s What I Call Music franchise into a TV show.

Fuller now has the TV rights to the compilation brand, and it’s thought he will launch a new pop telly show around it, incorporating some kind of interactive chart and a slot to promote new talent.

It’s not clear in which territories a Now TV show would appear – Now compilations are now sold in over 20 countries.

The UK, the original home of the Now series of course, is an obvious contender though given the lack of a proper pop show on terrestrial TV since the demise of ‘Top Of The Pops’, ‘CD:UK’ and ‘Popworld’.
