Glastonbury tickets to go on sale next month
By Andy Malt | Published on Tuesday 17 September 2013
Tickets for next year’s Glastonbury Festival will go on sale on 6 Oct at 9am sharp. As is now the established norm, ticket buyers will pay a deposit of £50 per person (with a maximum of six tickets per buyer), with the remaining £160 (plus £5 booking fee and £7 postage) due at the start of April.
What is different this year is that coach-and-festival ticket bundles will be sold in advance of festival tickets going on general sale, in a bid to convince more people to travel by coach, rather than car. These ‘bus wanker’ packages will be available from 6pm on 3 Oct.
