Imagem signs Jimmy Cliff
By Chris Cooke | Published on Friday 16 August 2013
The US side of independent publisher Imagem has announced it has signed a worldwide administration deal with reggae star Jimmy Cliff.
Confirming the deal, Imagem Music President Richard Stumpf told CMU: “It is an honour to work with a legend like Jimmy. His musicality crosses numerous genres and generations. His art is as relevant now as it was when he was first defining the Reggae sound. This is evidenced by his receiving a Grammy for his most recent album, ‘Rebirth'”.
Cliff’s manager Ernie Gonzalez added: “Imagem Music has a diverse roster of quality artists. Combined with their passion and creativity, we couldn’t think of a better publishing company to partner with”.
