Indian music service adds premium subscription
By Chris Cooke | Published on Thursday 11 July 2013
India-based streaming music service Dhingana, which provides free access to tracks from various genres of Indian music, has launched a premium offer.
So far the company has operated only an ad-funded option, but will now also offer Dhingana Gold for two dollars a month, adding downloads, HD quality and offline listening into the mix.
When the last batch of stats were published last year, Dhingana claimed to have fifteen million active users, of which about 40% were based outside of India itself.
