Isle Of Wight Festival announces Domino’s tie up
By Chris Cooke | Published on Monday 19 May 2014
This year’s Isle Of Wight Festival will come with extra Domino’s; though if like me you hate pizza but love a good domino rally, prepare yourself for a big disappointment. This is a deal between the IOW Festival and Domino’s Pizza UK. To be fair, most festival-goers would probably choose pizza over toppling plastic blocks, which is why I no longer go to festivals.
Anyway, Domino’s will have stalls all across the Isle Of Wight festival site selling their foodstuffs this year as part of a deal which will also see the pizza chain give-away tickets to and report on the event via it’s social media channels, all leading go-to places for quality music journalism I’m sure.
Says Domino’s Pizza UK marketing man Simon Wallis: “Pizza and festivals go hand in hand, so we are really excited to be involved with the first major UK festival of the season and to have such a strong presence across the site. Our on-site team will be serving up to 600 handmade pizzas per hour to ensure party-goers can enjoy the ultimate in festival refuelling day and night. With such an amazing line up it should be an unforgettable weekend”.
