Kanye West opens global retail chain (for the weekend)
By Andy Malt | Published on Friday 19 August 2016
Kanye West is opening 21 pop-up ‘Pablo stores’ around the world today, where you’ll be able to buy some stuff he’s thrown together and then slapped an inflated price tag on. It’ll be fun. Good old-fashioned expensive fun.
Following smaller scale pop-ups in New York, LA and Paris earlier this year, West today opens thirteen shops in the US, plus others in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Cape Town, Singapore, Melbourne and Sydney.
The London store, which takes over the Kachette event space on Old Street, opened its doors at 10am and will be open until 7pm tonight. The same opening hours will be in operation on Saturday and Sunday. So you could go along to that, or you could have a nice sit down somewhere else.
Look at a map of all the locations here, if you want.
