Lady Gaga declares pop emergency, releases single

Hey, you remember that countdown to the release of her new single Lady Gaga was doing? Yeah? Well forget about it, because the single arrived yesterday, a week early. This was all down to a “POP EMERGENCY”, or so Gaga tweeted yesterday afternoon.
The single leaked at the weekend, and despite some Twitter ranting on Gaga’s part and the best efforts of some of her fans to contain the leak, it propagated widely around the internet. Hence the enactment of POP EMERGENCY PROCEDURE #17, the early single release.
The track was ‘premiered’ on US radio shortly after the announcement. You can listen to it via iHeartRadio’s low quality online player here (but only if you have headphones):
