Madonna dives back into filmmaking. Again.

Following yesterday’s very sketchy newsbite re Madonna’s ‘Rebel Heart’, a TBA mystery ‘thing’ (or single) she might be doing (or releasing) soon (or perhaps, never), today’s ‘what is Madonna doing now?’ headline is this: Madonna is directing a film.
She’ll steer, says Billboard, a screen version of ‘Ade: A Love Story’, the 2013 novel by Rebecca Walker, daughter to ‘The Colour Purple’ author Alice. Madonna’s last directorial foray was that ‘WE’, in 2011, which wasn’t all that critically praised, nor was it a box office hit, grossing only half a million (pounds) worldwide.
