Martin says Imbruglia track is his best ever

Chris Martin says that the track he gave to Natalie Imbruglia for her upcoming ‘Come To Life’ album is the best track he’s ever written.
The Coldplay frontman says: “A bit annoyingly we’ve given her the best Coldplay song of all time, but because we’re off-cycle we can’t do it ourselves. Half of me wishes we still had it. But she sounds fucking brilliant on it. I think she has a very unique talent and an incredibly unique voice”.
Ah well. They can always do a version of it in a few years time. And then people will say things like “I preferred Natalie Imbruglia’s original”. Which will no doubt be frustrating.
