MC Hammer responds to tax rumours

MC Hammer has responded to reports that he owes nearly $800,000 in unpaid tax dating back to the two years following his declaration of bankruptcy in 1996. It was reported by TMZ last week that the rapper was being sued for the money. However, he has claimed that he’s already the tax bill. Writing on Twitter, Hammer said: “700k… Don’t get too excited. I paid them already and kept my receipt. Stamped by a US Federal Judge”.
