The founder of Ministry Of Sound, James Palumbo, is to receive a nomination to join the House Of Lords, according to The Times. The nomination will come later this month from Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg.

Palumbo has advised Clegg on business matters in the past, and has donated half a million pounds to the Lib Dems since 2004. He also gave the party use of his nightclub as its campaign headquarters during the last London mayoral election.

So, whether he likes it or not, James Palumbo should probably get used to people calling him the Lord Of The Dance.
