More panels confirmed for ITC
By CMU Editorial | Published on Thursday 9 September 2010
Organisers of In The City have announced details of seven panels which will take place as part of this year’s convention.
Among them will be a session on blogging including Pitchfork founder Ryan Schreiber, a discussion on all things dubstep led by Mixmag’s Joe Muggs, a look at the potential of the Chinese music industry including tour promoter Storme Whitby-Grubb and a debate on the potential for internet radio including Radio Academy boss and former Radio 1 man Trevor Dann. There’ll also be two panels involving CMU founder and Business Editor Chris Cooke, which surely deserve this extra paragraph. He’ll take part in a debate on the growing importance of fan analytics, and will chair a session on the topic of music brand partnerships.
This year’s In The City runs from 13-15 Oct, more at www.inthecity.co.uk.
