MPG Awards announce new venue
By CMU Editorial | Published on Friday 12 November 2010
The Music Producers’ Guild has announced that one of CMU’s favourite music business award events, the MPG Awards, will move to a new venue for 2011, Floridita on London’s Wardour Street.
MPG chair Steve Levine told CMU: “After two highly successful years at the Café de Paris, we felt the time had come to move our awards to a larger venue that could accommodate more guests. Feedback from previous years indicated that many of the people attending would prefer to be seated at tables. By moving to Floridita we are now in a position to respond to these requests. Floridita is an exceptional venue and we are anticipating a fantastic event”.
The 2011 event will take place on 9 Feb. Once again the Producer Of The Year prize will double up as a BRIT award.
