MTV VMA nominations announced
By Andy Malt | Published on Friday 18 July 2014
Beyonce is leading the nominations for the MTV Video Music Awards this year. She’s got eight! That’s quite a lot, isn’t it? There are only sixteen categories, so she’s come up in half of them. Well done Beyonce. I guess that’s what happens when you release 76 videos all at once, or whatever it was.
Anyway, no one’s that bothered about the actual awards, are they? You all want to know who’s going to make this year’s ‘Miley-rubbing-up-against-Robin-Thicke’s-balls’ moment, aren’t you? Well, currently booked to perform are Usher, Ariana Grande and 5 Seconds Of Summer. None of them quite cut it in the controversy stakes. I guess we’ll just have to wait.
Oh well, maybe we will look at the awards then. You can vote here, if you want, and you can look down the list of nominees here:
