Data experts Semetric, the company behind Musicmetric, has announced a number of new hires following that previously reported £3 million investment round earlier this year. The new recruits will be involved in selling and further developing the firm’s artist analytics platform Musicmetric Pro.

Amongst the hires are former EMI and Clear Channel exec Emily Tabak as Director Of Marketing and former West One Music Group exec Rachel Menzies as Director Of Sales, while on the development side Andrew Sommerville becomes Director Of Data Science, Raymond Ottrun becomes Software Engineer and Andy Sykes becomes System Operations Manager.

Confirming all this, Semetric CEO Gregory Mead told CMU: “Central to our continuing development at the forefront of digital music analysis, and expanding our global reach, is having the best and brightest of new staff. Our five new hires will boost our sales, marketing and software development, and will be instrumental in assisting the growth and development of our ever extending product portfolio”.
