New York manager joins Machine in London
By CMU Editorial | Published on Thursday 8 July 2010
Formerly New York-based artist manager Molly Hawkins is joining London-based management agency Machine Management. Hawkins’ existing roster of acts, Chairlift, Yacht and Glasser, will join her and become part of the Machine artist family.
Machine Management founder and MD chap, Iain Watt, told CMU: “Molly is an excellent artist manager who will bring energy, enthusiasm and a real eye for talent to our company. She comes to us with a thorough knowledge of the US marketplace and three great bands already under her wing and we are looking forward to helping her develop those artists while giving her the support and infrastructure she needs to add new acts to her existing roster”.
Hawkins added: “I’m really excited about joining a company who have rightly earned an international reputation for professionalism and forward thinking in the artist management field. I didn’t need to think twice about their offer to come over to London and am really looking forward to working with the Machine Management team moving forward”.
