Phoenix insists that career change is for good

Joaquin Phoenix has said that he is not returning to acting and is committed to his new rap career. As previously reported, the actor made a lacklustre debut at a gig in Las Vegas recently, leading to speculation that the whole career change thing is a hoax. It all seems a bit nutty to me, frankly, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it were.
Anyway, here’s what Phoenix told The AP: “I’m not one of those people, like, when I break up with my girlfriend, I don’t ever see her again. I see her as friends, but do I ever think about getting back together? No, when I do something, I do it. So I have no intention”.
