PR companies unite to form Chapel Collective
By Andy Malt | Published on Monday 3 February 2014
Four music PR companies – Guesty PR, Wilful Publicity, Great Northern PR and Electric Shores – have announced a new alliance, called the Chapel Collective, which will see them collaborate and share resources on certain projects.
Great Northern PR and Wilful Publicity are run by former EMI Publicity Directors Debra Geddes and William Luff respectively, while Guesty PR is the project of Live Nation’s former Head Of PR Steve Guest, and Electric Shores is owned by ex Chuff Media Head Of Press Jenn Nimmo-Smith.
In a statement, they said: “We decided to form Chapel Collective as a new way of providing publicity and campaign consultancy across the music and entertainment industry. Focussing on our clients’ needs we can offer a personal service through our own individual companies or expand projects to work collectively, bringing in each others’ skills, experience and contacts to deliver wide-ranging campaigns”.
They continued: “We want to create an umbrella company where clients can talk to us individually or together about all aspects of their publicity needs and collectively we will be able to deliver on those requirements. Chapel Collective will also be able to bring specialist partners in where required and act as consultants for clients wanting to tap into major label and promoter experience, outside of the usual channels”.
