SCUM split
By Aly Barchi | Published on Tuesday 15 January 2013
Following yesterday’s revelation that Welsh indie quintet Race Horses had parted ways, never to play as a band again, now London band SCUM – aka Mr Peaches Geldof, Tom Cohen et al – have followed suit by confirming that they’ve split.
The band, who released but one lone LP in 2011’s ‘Again Into Eyes’, shared this consolatory note via their Facebook page: “It seems an appropriate time to announce after a long hiatus, SCUM have collectively decided that we will no longer play or continue to write together. We’d all like to thank you for all of your support but we have chosen to part ways and work on new projects. See you all very soon”.
